NEVERS AGGLOMERATION

Innovation has always enabled Humanity, organizations and businesses to better resist crises. The period we are going through, facing an unprecedented health and economic crisis, is no exception. In our middle cities, all over the world, in both the private and the public sector, we have been able to create or improve products, services, production processes, organizational methods, work methods and decision making.

It is this positive spirit, as opposed to resignation, that this third edition of the International Summit on Innovation in Median Cities wishes to highlight. By illustrating, through an immersive demonstrator and thematic conferences, our ability to adapt thanks to new technologies, human intelligence and artificial intelligence.

SIIViM has adapted itself to the health context and constraints. Everything is done to allow visitors to move around in complete safety. With the Mayor of Shawinigan, Michel Angers, we wanted the SIIViM to innovate by offering a phygital edition, thus mixing physical and digital, and able to accommodate both visitors to Nevers and online web viewers from around the world.

I warmly thank our partners and all the contributors for their work, the imagination deployed to maintain the SIIViM and thus create the first phygital event of the median cities. We will reflect together on the economic, social and technological challenges that will shape the world of tomorrow, in the presence of many personalities, in particular that of Mr. Cédric O, French Secretary of State in charge of the digital transition and electronic communications.

I therefore hope that many of you will visit this augmented SIIViM and share a unique, exciting and positive experience.
